Find Inspiration Everywhere

Inspiration can be everywhere and anywhere we look. In our homes, in people we meet, in a simple sign on the street. One of the best things we can do to try to get that external motivation and inspiration is to surround ourselves with reminders.

1.Try decorating your surroundings with inspirational phrases and expressions that keep you motivated and thinking in the right positive mindset. Try some inspirational designs by me, The Vinyl Expressionista, customize your own favorite sayings or, browse through the catalog at http://expresswithshay.uppercaseliving.net

2. Dont take a clean home for granted. Try not to go to bed, or leave your home a mess. I know that sometimes you may get too busy for your own good (especially when you have children), but try to do your best to do once over before you retire for the evening or leave your home. It does wonders for your attitude the next morning! And who wants to come home from work, or school, etc.. and walk into a mess knowing that you now how to jump into cleaning mode.

3. Organize, Organize, Organize. Keeping some form of organization in your home or can easily keep you motivated or inspired to tackle the next task at hand. Which brings us to our next point.

4. Make a list, check it twice! I am one who hates lists, but alas, I must admit that I need them. Especially when things in life begin to get crazy and I feel overwhelmed with so much going on,  I realize that I must stop, take a deep breath, and take stock of everything swirling around in my head that needs to get done!  Once I can categorize everything that is an immediate need, or task I feel inspired to begin to mark things on my list. The more you begin to feel like you are successfully completing goals, the more likely you are to continue and extend yourself in the goal setting process. More successfully completed goals= more inspiration.

5. Last but not least, LOOK FOR inspiration in everything you do, everywhere you go, and everyone you meet. "The Creator often comes to us in the form of someone we can help or a situation in which we can be of service. We must understand that these are our opportunities to build our Light, to bolster our protective shield, to give us the strength to rise above." - Karen Berg. It is said that you never know who you are running into. People you meet, can be pure sources of inspiration. Listen to people's stories, hear their struggles, their happiness, their thoughts, their goals. Use the sense of community to provide a source of inspiration and drive for the things that you wish to change and deal with in your life.

6. Get R Done~
